We managed to kill most of the day. I spent my time trying to find lines between the events. The idea of anything connected to anything here is beyond hope. Wizard has often said that things here in Circaeus is truth and everything here is also a lie. He then would wave his hands to make it more dramatic. It's all a lie, but here I am in the middle of it all and, that's the truth. I thought about saying something creepy to the group to mimic what I was feeling, but nothing came to mind.

Dye was drawing lines on a canvas. He used lines to block off sections of white and create shapes, balance, and something interesting. "What's up with the lines?", I asked him. He pointed out the window. I walked over to him and took his view, my electric was gone. The electric screen was gone, the building was gone, something was happening. Hummer walked over and opened the window; it was pulsing. Hummer quickly grabbed a machine and threw it out the window. He ran over to his console and pressed the red button.

Dye's mouth opened. I looked back at the gone, and there was something there, there was something more. It was Ultra. Three figures appeared from within the screen. Dye wasn't randomly placing lines; he was copying the wires from the screen mixed with the suspended pathways. These entities are mirroring one another, creating something more than a muse, she was an artist. She was beautiful, and she was giving us a way out.

I attempted a reasonable volume, "There's our distraction, let's go!" Hummer threw his console in his bag and helped Maker tidy. Dye quickly painted the faces of the three women he had already sketched out; it was more of a wash. Dye mumbled, "I'll see you again." His brush morphed into a knife, blocking out areas. The electric sign was transparent but would flicker to something else; it looked like skin. He blocked the essential areas and threw the painting on his back. We left the bed unmade.

We navigated the city's streets and made the most of the distraction. The city no longer cared about us, we traveled as if we were in some spirit world. Every screen, filled with this being, this entity, watching over us. She protected us every step of the way. People would turn to watch her while we walked down the middle of the street like ghosts, past three walls, six guards, and nothing happened. "Abracadabra," I said as we made our way towards the green.

Maker turned on his little building model and lit our way. Dye looked back and giggled, "it would have won." We laughed, it was a small distraction from what we all were thinking, and that something was Ultra.
